Features
The Total System Manager has the same purpose as the Electrical System Manager, to control loads to keep vehicle battery voltage above a certain value. The Total System Manager has all of the same basic inputs as the Electrical System Manager (shed enable, park brake, master switch) and the same basic outputs (main battery low voltage warning, auxiliary battery low voltage warning, hi idle). The Total System Manager adds more outputs with more flexibility. Outputs that can be defined by the user as to if and when it sheds and when it comes on. These definitions are programmed using the PCB switches and uses the LEDs and display for feedback. As with the ESM the TSM has voltages at which the associated load will shed and unshed, but unlike the ESM each of the loads can be programmed for any point (priority level). Each of the outputs can be programmed to come on with or without the Master switch input, and with or without (or either) the park brake input. When the park brake input is active the SCENE LED will be illuminated, when the park brake input is not active the RESPONSE LED will be illuminated. When the TSM is powered the IGNITION LED will illuminate. When the Master switch input is active the WRN MASTER LED will illuminate. There is also a variable trip output that can be set to come on above a certain voltage or to come on below a certain voltage (range 10.5V – 15.0V). This can be used as like a low voltage warning or a high voltage warning.
